About the Head of Channel Position

We are seeking to hire our first Head of Channel to join the Stairwell team. This person will determine the best Channel strategy for Stairwell, and create the go-to-market plan for future Channels. We are seeking someone who isn’t intimidated by complex problems, and enjoys finding solutions that support multiple levels within the company. To be successful in the role, the ideal person will need to be a self starter and possess excellent organization and communication skills.

Head of Channel Responsibilities

  • Own, build, and execute on, the framework and processes that will drive the Stairwell Channel and Partnerships plan from beginning to end.
  • Engage directly with current and prospective channel partners to build relationships and go-to-market strategies.
  • Responsible for the full relationship cycle with partners from identification, closed agreements, and developing a joint book of business.
  • Determine what Channel and Partnership types are the most advantageous for the Stairwell go-to-market plan.
  • Serve as first in line support to the Chief Revenue Officer by managing the Channels and Partnerships function of the Stairwell go-to-market plan.

Head of Channel Qualifications

  • Stairwell doesn't believe a college degree is a requirement for any role. We embrace all people, who are able to perform at the highest levels of their field, regardless of how they obtained their education.
  • 7+ years of experience in Channel and Partnerships at Security or SaaS companies.
  • Broad understanding of the types of Channel and Partnerships, and ability to determine the best choice for Stairwell.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Channel and Partnership functionality, and ability to create processes that will best serve the team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to quickly establish credibility with partners.
